Last updated: 9 July 2026 · Covers the ShatterRush Status service.
ShatterRush Status is a free service made by Tetra Studios ("we" or "us") that shows whether the ShatterRush game servers are online, along with the current game version and news. This page sets out what information we handle (the Privacy Policy) and the rules for using the service (the Terms of Service). By using ShatterRush Status, you agree to both. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
The main ShatterRush Privacy Policy and Terms of Service cover the game itself, including additional rights for players in the EU, UK, and California. Where the two overlap, that policy governs the game and this one governs the status service.
By using ShatterRush Status, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please do not use the Service.
This is a binding agreement between you and Tetra Studios. It covers visiting the public status page at status.playshatterrush.com, submitting reports and feedback, and using the ShatterRush game client's status features. Where these Terms conflict with the Privacy Policy on matters relating to data, the Privacy Policy takes precedence.
ShatterRush Status is free and ad-free. It shows whether game servers are online, offline, or in maintenance; displays the current game version and next playtest time; provides recent news and updates; and includes a form to submit reports or feedback.
The Service is provided without guarantee of availability or accuracy. There may be delays of up to several minutes before changes appear on the status page. If you need to confirm server status before playing, you should check the main ShatterRush website or in-game launcher as well. We get status information from Epic Games. If Epic has problems on their end, the information shown here may be wrong or out of date.
You agree not to:
Breaches of these rules may result in a warning, temporary suspension lasting from hours to 30 days, or permanent ban from the Service and associated ShatterRush accounts or devices. Moderation decisions may be made automatically by our systems or by a human moderator, as discussed in Section 6.
When you submit reports, feedback, or bug descriptions, you give us permission to use them to run and improve the Service, investigate cheating and rule violations, share anonymised versions with our team, and contact you about your report.
You must be truthful in your submissions. False or deliberately misleading reports are a serious breach of these Terms and may expose you to legal liability under Australian law.
We are not responsible for any harm if a player is suspended or banned based on your report. The responsibility for truthfulness rests with you.
We may review, edit, or remove content that breaks these Terms; investigate reports; suspend or permanently ban accounts; and restrict access to the Service. We may use automated systems to detect abuse and false reports. Automated bans can happen without human review first (see section 6). We are not obliged to review all content in real time or monitor all activity constantly.
Some bans are decided automatically, so a person may not review your case before you are banned. If you are suspended or banned, you can ask us to reconsider and to have a person review the decision by contacting us at tetrastudios.com.au/contact with your username. Our decision on an appeal is final, but this does not affect your right to complain under Australian Consumer Law or to the Australian Information Commissioner.
All content in the Service, including code, design, logos, trademarks, and game data, is owned by Tetra Studios or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-commercial licence to use the Service only. You cannot copy or download large amounts of data, modify or create derivative works, reverse-engineer or decompile anything, sublicense or sell access, or use the Service for commercial purposes.
You own any original content you submit to us. By submitting it, you give us the licence described in Section 4.
The Service is provided as is without any warranty. We make no guarantee that the Service will run without interruption or errors, that information is accurate or current, that the Service will meet your needs, or that third-party services will remain available.
Nothing here takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. These include the guarantees that our services are provided with due care and skill and are reasonably fit for purpose, and consumers under 18 keep their full consumer-guarantee rights under the Australian Consumer Law (section 139A).
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data. Where the law lets us limit our liability, it is limited to re-supplying the Service or paying the cost of doing so, which for a free service is nil. We remain liable for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and fraud.
We may update these Terms. For material changes affecting privacy, data use, liability, or your obligations, we will give at least 14 days' notice via a banner on the Service or email. If you do not accept the changes, you can close your account without penalty within the notice period. Continued use after the notice period means you accept the new Terms.
You can end your account at any time by visiting tetrastudios.com.au/contact. Please provide your Steam/EOS account name, and your "Online ID" as noted inside ShatterRush at Settings -> Gameplay. Your account will be closed within 5 business days, and your personal data will be deleted or anonymised per our Privacy Policy.
We can end your account if you materially breach these Terms or pose a safety risk. For legal compliance or service shutdown, we will give 30 days' notice where possible.
After termination, your access stops and your data is handled per the Privacy Policy. Clauses about intellectual property, liability, and governing law survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we accept the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer laws of your own country still protect you. Please contact us first at tetrastudios.com.au/contact so we can try to resolve any dispute.

We run ShatterRush Status and handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles. We follow the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) regardless of any exemptions. We collect and use your information to provide the Service, keep it safe, detect cheating and ban evasion, and comply with the law.
Personal information is any information or opinion about you where you are identified or reasonably identifiable, such as your IP address, device ID, username, or account details.
When you visit, we collect your IP address, browser type, approximate location (your country), and which pages you view and when.
When you submit feedback or a report, we collect your message (up to 2,000 characters), IP address, report type (bug, feedback, or player report), and if reporting a player, that player's username or account ID.
When you log in as a ShatterRush player, we collect your Epic account ID, IP address, device identifier, and login history.
We only collect the information the Service needs to operate.
We collect your information to provide the Service by showing you status, news, and enabling reporting; keep you safe by detecting cheating and fraud, preventing ban evasion, and investigating reports; improve the Service by analysing usage and identifying problems; meet legal obligations by complying with court orders and tax laws; and protect our rights by enforcing our Terms and defending claims.
We do not sell your data.
We reserve the right to ban any player who we believe is breaching these terms for any reason.
We do not set our own cookies on the public status page. Cloudflare, which helps run and protect the site, may set cookies that are needed for it to work. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
When you log in via Epic, Epic may set cookies. See the Epic Games Privacy Policy.
You can manage cookies in your browser settings. If you disable cookies, you may not be able to log in or stay logged in.
Some of our staff in Australia can access your data to run the service. We also rely on the service providers below, and some of them operate overseas, so your information may be processed in other countries, including the United States:
We remain accountable under Australian privacy law for how these overseas providers handle your data, even though they are not themselves covered by it. We do not sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies.
If we are acquired or merged, your data may transfer, and we will notify you. We will also disclose data where the law requires it, such as a court order, and will usually try to notify you unless we are not allowed to.
Login records containing your Epic ID, IP address, usernames, and device IDs are kept indefinitely to prevent ban evasion.
Basic activity logs that include your IP address are kept for about 72 hours and then deleted. Only our staff can access them, and they are not shared outside the service.
Daily summaries without IP addresses are kept for about 95 days and then deleted.
Anti-cheat checks are kept only briefly and then deleted.
Player reports are kept for as long as we need them for moderation and record-keeping.
Feedback and bug reports are kept for as long as we need them to review and act on them, and are then deleted or de-identified.
You can ask us to delete your data at tetrastudios.com.au/contact with the subject "Request To Delete Personal Data" and your username. We will action it within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep the information, we need it to enforce our Terms, or it is needed to prevent ban evasion. Moderation and ban records, including the account, IP, and device details we use to enforce bans, may be kept for a long time so that bans stay effective.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using security technology such as encryption while your data is in transit, limiting access to staff who need it, and collecting only what we need. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee your data will never be accessed by an unauthorised person. You are responsible for keeping your own account details safe.
If we discover a data breach, we assess it within 30 days. If serious harm is likely, we notify you as soon as possible and tell you what happened, how to protect yourself, and what we are doing about it, and we notify the OAIC. We may not need to notify you if we take steps that stop the harm from being likely.
You can ask us to access or correct the information we hold about you, or to delete it, at tetrastudios.com.au/contact. We will respond within 30 days, usually free of charge. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep records we are required or entitled to keep, such as those we need to enforce a ban.
We can also give you a copy of your personal data in a common, portable format, and you can ask us to stop using the automated ban system and have a person review decisions instead. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
Any data held by Steam or Epic must be deleted through them.
If you have a concern, contact us first at tetrastudios.com.au/contact with the subject "Privacy Complaint" and your username. We will acknowledge within 5 business days and respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC):

ShatterRush is for players aged 13 and over, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Where the law sets a higher age to consent to online services, a parent or guardian must agree on the child's behalf.
If we find out we have collected information from a child under 13 without that consent, we will delete or de-identify it within a reasonable time, and notify the parent or guardian if appropriate.
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date and give notice where the law requires it. If you keep using the Service after an update, you accept it.
